Biography :
Mr. Zarrinfar is in charge of IP division at Mentor. He was president & CEO of Novelics and sold this memory IP Company to Mentor on April 2011. He joined Novelics in 2006 and focused on revenue growth, productization of ultra-low power and ultra-high density memory IPs. He led Novelics to profitability by 2H2009. He is chairing “Power Efficient IPs for AI” at DAC 2019.
Previously, Mr. Zarrinfar was Vice President of worldwide Sales for Strategic Accounts at ARC International. Prior to ARC, Mr. Zarrinfar was Vice President of Strategic Marketing in America for SONY Semiconductor, for broadband ICs. He also held Director-level position for ASIC sales & marketing at Samsung Semiconductor, where he grew the North American business from $30 million in sales per year to over $ 150 million. He also had positions in marketing management at LSI Logic, and engineering management positions at Lockheed Martin and Texas Instruments. Mr. Zarrinfar holds BSEE, MSEE, and MBA.
